Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Durham, NC, for a temporary position covering a maternity leave.
This role will involve working with a diverse caseload of students to provide high-quality speech and language therapy services.
You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that meet the specific needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, parents, and school staff.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide support and training to teachers and parents regarding speech and language development.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
