This role will serve as a strategic partner to CLEAR's People & Performance team, providing expert legal advice & guidance on employee relations matters across corporate & field (airport) locations, ensuring compliance with employment laws & promoting a positive employee experience.
What you'll do :
- Partner with our People & Performance team to proactively manage employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, & terminations, to mitigate legal risks
- Work alongside Training & Compliance teams to develop programs for managers & employees on relevant employment laws, policies, & best practices
- Review & draft employment-related documents, such as policies, employment agreements, & communications, to ensure legal compliance
- Manage employment litigation, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, & wrongful termination cases, from initiation to resolution, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws & regulations
- Handle claims related to employment practices, such as wage & hour disputes, EEOC charges, & ADA accommodations, providing strategic advice & legal representation as needed

- Develop & maintain positive relationships with stakeholders across the organization through proactive engagement
What you're great at :
- Interpret & apply federal, state, & local employment laws & regulations in a corporate setting
- Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice on complex employee & labor relations issues
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical solutions
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented & organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities & deadlines
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school & active Bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience practicing employment law, preferably in a corporate environment or law firm
- Experience working with both hourly & salaried employee populations

The base salary range for this role is $190,000 - $215,000, depending on levels of skills & experience.
The base salary range represents the low & high end of CLEARs salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience & performance.
The range listed is just one component of CLEARs total compensation package for employees & other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
