Credit Review is an independent function within Internal Audit at JPMorgan Chase & Co. that aims to enhance and protect the firm by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight.

Job Responsibilities Developing, managing and delivering credit review plan coverage, execution and escalating emerging issues to senior management in a timely fashion.

Performing continuous monitoring of credit portfolios to assess credit risk trends, credit performance, business activities, industry events and regulatory changes for identification of emerging themes and impacts to credit quality.

Lead a team of reviewers that include working with large datasets, model-driven risk strategies and analyzing the credit underwriting quality of individual transactions and risk strategies.

Contributing to the resolutions of complex issues and articulating results and themes to senior level stakeholders Strengthening and managing relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders while maintaining independence.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills Experienced credit professional with a minimum of 10 years of consumer and / or small business credit experience, preferably with a background in credit card, consumer credit underwriting, quality assurance, and / or credit risk management.

Firm understanding of how to employ data analytics to monitor and assess credit card portfolios. Demonstrated understanding of credit risk management, retail credit principles, financial analysis, and strong analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required with ability to present complex issues to management.

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective in a dynamic fast-paced environment and willing to take personal risk, responsibility, and accountability.

Proven ability and desire to learn quickly, be flexible, and think strategically.
