The Staff Registered Nurse will be responsible for : - Providing care for patients throughout procedural services - Supporting the Procedural Float Pool specialty, the designated staff nurse : - Prepares patients for procedures and provides post procedure and extended recovery care for inpatient and ambulatory populations.

  • The rotation will include, but not limited to, pre / intra / post procedure Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, Extended Recovery, Outpatient Infusion Center, Cardiac Rehab, and Pain Management Center.
  • Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment. To qualify you must have : - Education : Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.

For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required. - Experience : Post Anesthesia Care / Procedural Recovery Unit experience preferred.

  • Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit preferred. - Intravenous skill experience preferred. - BLS and ACLS required.
  • Other : Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged. - Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract
