Position Summary :
Nursing Assistant PT 24 Hour Days
Summary :
Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients on the Med / Surg Acute Care Unit and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and / or unit.
Qualifications :
- Education : High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of certified nursing assistant program.
- Certification / Licensure : CNA certification or current RN student with documentation of completion of two clinical rotations.
Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required.
- Experience : Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- Software / Hardware : Experience with Meditech is preferred.
