The hospital offers advanced cardiovascular care, including one of the largest open-heart programs in Florida. The American College of Cardiology has recognized UF Health Leesburg Hospital for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain by awarding a Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primacy PCI and Resuscitation its highest and best level of accreditation.
The hospital also offers world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic surgery, life-saving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and so much more.
Under the direction of the director / clinical coordinator / charge nurse, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year of acute care with cardiac experience. This is a Full Time, Night Shift position, eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Education :
Diploma / Associate's Degree
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
- Florida Registered Nurse License
- ACLS
Special Skills / Qualifications / Additional Training / Experience Required :
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- At least 1 year recent acute care experience with cardiac patients highly preferred
- Experience in ICU / CVICU / PCU or med-surg with Cardiac Patients highly preferred
