Summary :

Goldschmitt and Associates is seeking a Software Developer.

This is a remote position that would require less than 10% travel annually.

The focus of this role is providing backend development support for multiple custom complex scheduling applications. This role would be involved in multiple related efforts and be part of an Agile-based 5-8 person collaborative development team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Backend design and development using Java and Java testing frameworks
• Design and development of REST / RESTful APIs
• Develop using J2EE technologies
• Use of AWS Developer tools and AWS Cloud Technology
• Manage User Authentication
• Architecture design
• Develop and maintain system documentation
• Assist with UI design and functionality discussions and testing
• Analyze software requirements
• Review code to identify any inefficiencies
• Other job duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications :

• Possess 5+ years of experience with the following :
• Frameworks : Spring Boot, Apache OpenJPA, Hibernate, OpenAPI
• Technologies : Restful Services, Java 8, Java 17
• Platforms : AWS, Docker Containers
• Application Servers : WebSphere, Tomcat
• Databases : DB2, MYSQL
• Tools : Gitlab, AWS CodeCommit, Swagger, Junit, JMeter
• Processes : CI / CD
• Possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Possess sole US citizenship as well as having worked in the United States for 3 out of the last 5 years.
• Possess the ability to travel as needed.
