Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc, is currently looking for an Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to work in a skilled nursing facility located in Santee, CA.
Candidates must have at least 1-year of experience. We offer competitive rates and know you will be delighted with our service!
Pay Rate
$30 / hr
Job Description :
- provide OT treatment sessions to residents on OT caseload (ADLs like dressing grooming bathing toileting, therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activities, community reintegration activities, cognitive retraining, Neuro Re-ed, Pt / Staff education, etc.),
- write daily notes for each resident seen that day,
- write weeklies for each resident,
- perform OT group sessions if any,
- deep clean gym after each resident use of equipment,
- linen duties,
- assist OTR during OT evals / referrals when resident being assessed is a 2-person assist,
- maintaining / managing OT equipment / supplies,
- assisting with OT / Rehab projects (for example : Dining Rounds Audit to prep Survey) as needed,
- provide Inservice to staff like nursing (for example : teaching CNA’s how to correctly don / doff elbow splints)
Requirements :
- CA COTA License
- 2-3 References
- Successful completion of a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
