It also expands Anderson Dahlen's resources to serve customers in the Food, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, and Vacuum Technology markets.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION :

Primary responsibilities are shipping and receiving making sure that all employees at our company receive deliveries in a timely manner.

You also make sure that internal customers receive the items they ordered in a timely manner, without any mistakes in the delivery.

In this way, you are important in making sure that everyone gets what they need quickly and efficiently.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :

• Coordinate deliveries to customers and clients daily, including boxing goods, addressing packages, and staying in contact with shipping companies.
• Receive and process material orders daily, including accepting deliveries, labeling, and distributing packages and letters internally.
• Maintain the company stockroom by cleaning, organizing, and labeling items in storage on a regular basis.
• Keep records of goods that have been received and prepare receiving reports for supervisors.
• Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by boxing and lifting items as necessary and operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large items.
• Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and internal customers who are receiving goods.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY :

• 6 months to 2 years of previous experience in a warehouse setting fulfilling shipping and receiving duties and responsibilities preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of computer programs and Material Handler equipment.
• Knowledge of spreadsheets or database software such as Microsoft Excel.
• Must be US person or PRC holder due to access to products and technology controlled under the ITAR.
• Experience utilizing an ERP system, such as Made to Manage.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Anderson Dahlen fosters a manufacturing type environment. Moderately heavy work requiring the occasional lifting of objects weighing 50 pounds or less.

In the performance of essential duties, the incumbent may be required to operate a variety of industrial machining tools.
