Join us in making 2024 a landmark year for growth and success! Job Summary : As a Construction Manager at McKinley Homes, you will oversee the construction of residential projects from inception through completion, ensuring they meet cost, schedule, and quality standards.
With a focus on strategic planning, project management, and team coordination, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality homes and maintaining excellent relationships with contractors, vendors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities : Support planning and tracking of construction activities, including material deliveries, contractor schedules, and inspections.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, vendors, and donors, ensuring high-quality work and value.
Enforce safety policies and OSHA standards, ensuring compliance and safety on all construction sites. Validate schedule progression and adherence.
Work with team to share feedback and improve planning activities, including vendor coaching and performance feedback through schedule and quality recordables Manage the customer experience throughout the construction process through close of house.
Build sustainable relationships of trust with the homeowner through open and interactive communication. Solid understanding of residential construction techniques and principles, with a commitment to continuous learning.
Familiarity with local and state building codes, with the ability to research and apply new code requirements. Strong organizational and time management skills for managing multiple projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management applications.
Ability to lift and position at least 25 pounds frequently. Punctual, reliable, and dedicated to timely job completion. Innovative and flexible in problem-solving and process improvement.
Experience : ( 3-5 Years Experience in Residential / Multi Family Construction). Strong communication skills (both oral and written) Strong organizational skills Proficiency with BuildPro software.
OSHA certification Preferred. Strong knowledge of home construction. Knowledge of relevant building codes and all scopes of work.
