Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with diverse learning needs and will be committed to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring they receive the appropriate support and instruction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective IEPs for students with special needs
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students' success
- Monitor and report on students' progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' performance and progress
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's preferred)
- State certification in Special Education
- Previous experience working with students with special needs
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs
