q-Health Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant with Family Practice / Primary Care or Internal Medicine experience to work with a single physician in a start up setting.
This opportunity is well suited for an experienced Medical Assistant who is an empathetic, active listener with good communication skills.
Applicant should have experience with lab draws, injections, EKG, Pap smears, ear irrigation, HMO referrals, and prior authorizations for medication and imaging.
This position is located in Dickinson, Texas.

An ideal candidate has great customer service, teamwork, and multi-tasking skills. We prefer Registered / Certified Medical Assistant and Spanish fluency, but neither is required.
An MA with a t least 3 years experience as a Medical Assistant in a family practice / primary care office and a current CPR certificate will be competitive for this position.
