Automotive Finance Manager

The Automotive Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager plays a critical role in our dealership by ensuring that customers have a seamless and positive experience during the vehicle purchase process.

This role is responsible for offering financing options, insurance products, and extended service plans while ensuring compliance with all legal and financial regulations.

The F&I Manager also works closely with the sales team to help close deals and maximize profitability.

What you'll be doing :

Engage with customers to explain financing options, insurance products, and extended warranties.

Ensure that customers understand their choices and make informed decisions.

Secure financing through banks and other lending institutions.

Review and verify customer credit applications and facilitate loan approvals.

Offer and sell F&I products such as extended warranties, GAP insurance, and other aftermarket products.

Present these options in a way that aligns with customer needs and preferences.

• Ensure all transactions comply with federal, state, and local laws, including the accurate completion of all required documentation and disclosures.
• Work closely with the sales team to structure deals that are financially viable for both the customer and the dealership.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure that all financial paperwork is completed and stored properly.
• Train and mentor sales staff on the F&I process, including how to effectively present financing options to customers.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support throughout the purchasing process.

What we're looking for :

• Proven experience as a Finance & Insurance Manager or similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of automotive financing, insurance products, and related regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and dealership management systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred).
• Previous experience in automotive sales or finance is required.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
