Patient Satisfaction
- Collaborate with other health care provider s regardin g th e pla n of intraoperative cares, including instr u m ent / supply set up prior to case.

- Exe m plify e xcellent guest relations to patients, visitors, and physicians and co-workers.
- Collaborate as a m e m ber of the operati v e team to enhance patient flow with changes to daily procedure schedules.
Patien t Safety
- Cleaning, deconta m ination, and sterili z ation of all instru m ents, m etal goods, and equipment used for patient care.
- Plan and prepare for sur g ical interve n tion based on individualized needs of each patient and respond to on-going, i n ter m ittent, and unexpected chan g e s in delegated aspects of care.
- Adher e t o HIPA A an d follo w socia l m e dia policy and adhere to standards of practice for instru m ent and supply sterility.
- Verify double check system to verify m edications / supplies that are passed to the sterile field.
- Maintain just culture and report any b reaks in st e rile f ield and acti v ities surrounding patient care.

- Share knowledge and skills with colleagues and others inc l udin g orientation and cross-training.

Mandatory Licensure / Certifications :
CST) Currently certified by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or (LPN) Curr e ntly licen s ed by the In d i a na Sta t e Board of Nurses' Registration and Nursing Education as a Registered Nurse.
