Your Typical Daily Responsibilities

Prepare meals from scratch according to assigned recipe specifications and quality standards
Follow recipes, manage portion control and ensure attractive plate presentation
Properly manage cook times while preparing and multitasking several orders at a time
Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen ensuring compliance with regulations, policies and procedures
Follow checklists and company procedures to ensure kitchen is stocked and well maintained at all times

Skills Required for Success

Being flexible and adaptable to different schedules, tasks and evolving needs within the department
Ability to actively listen, observe, identify and anticipate guests needs with a strong focus on customer service
Ability to follow detailed instruction while working as part of a team to achieve a collective goal
Demonstrated ability to read, write and understand English

OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write and speak proficient English
Minimum of 6 months line cook experience in upscale casual dining or an equivalent environment
Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules including weekends and holidays as needed
