Job Description
The Nursing Director will be responsible for planning, directing, managing and evaluating administrative and clinical services / activities assigned to Nursing Education Department.
They will assist in the formulation, implementation of philosophy, standards of care, and practices in the Department of Nursing.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications :
- Master's in Nursing or equivalent highly preferred; Bachelor's of Nursing required
- Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State.
- Minimum (4) years progressive experience in a leadership position.
- Demonstrated competence as a Nurse Educator and Practitioner
- Demonstrates competencies in management skills
- Knowledge of federal and state regulatory agencies requirements
