Objective

Accomplished Executive Director of BioMed Operations with expertise in managing biomedical service contracts, staff development, and process optimization.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Standardize Operational Procedures : Develop, implement, and continually improve standardized operations procedures to ensure the timely resolution or escalation of issues, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Team Collaboration and Problem Solving : Work effectively in a team environment to monitor, log, resolve, and escalate issues with field staff, fostering a culture of efficiency and collaboration.
  • Training and Development : Lead training programs to standardize employee practices on new forms, software, and procedures, ensuring consistency and alignment with company-wide goals and industry standards.

Coordinate the technical team’s training with the Training Department to ensure ongoing skill development and adherence to industry standards.

  • Field Staff Scheduling : Adjust schedules of field staff as needed, reporting changes to corporate leadership, ensuring optimal staffing and resource allocation to meet service demands.
  • Client Relationship Management : Act as a liaison for internal and external communications with hospitals, ensuring timely responses, problem resolution, and proactive updates.

Provide regular weekly status reports.

Compliance and Accreditation Management : Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards by leading field staff in the completion of surveys, licensing audits, and maintaining accreditations.

Develop systems to continuously meet and exceed these requirements. Work closely with the Quality Audit Team to ensure that all services provided to clients adhere strictly to company and industry standards.

  • Technical Customer Support : Interact with customers at the technical level as required, providing expert guidance while ensuring their needs are met with high-quality service delivery.
  • Business Development : Drive revenue growth through strategic upselling of services, including parts, while identifying and acting on additional business development opportunities to expand the company's footprint.
  • Employee and Account Evaluations : Perform yearly evaluations of employees and hospital accounts, leveraging performance data to drive improvements in service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Team Building and Motivation : Build and motivate teams to work toward profitability and industry leadership, using team-building strategies that align with long-term business goals.
  • Data-Driven Reporting : Provide comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports to the Hospital EOC / Safety Committee, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making and maintain alignment with industry-leading standards.
  • Initiative and Innovation : Lead initiatives to continuously seek out opportunities for operational improvements, process innovation, and long-term strategic growth beyond daily routines.
  • Compliance with Safety and Regulations : Report to the Hospital EOC / Safety Committee and present monthly and quarterly performance reports, ensuring all safety and regulatory guidelines are consistently followed.
  • Growth and Development Opportunities : Look for opportunities to grow the business, foster biomed technician education, and drive overall team advancement to meet future industry challenges.
  • Client and Hospital Communications : Maintain open communication channels with hospitals and clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, service continuity, and the upholding of contractual obligations.

Must Have :

A BioMed degree or Come from a Military Background
