ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Business Systems Analyst, Lead to join our team. This position is in support of our Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) customer, located at Ft.
Meade, MD. The position is just one of several personnel on a team that is responsible for helping the Emerging Technologies Directorate identify, research, socialize, and track new and emerging capabilities with a goal to enable the people who enable the Warfighters.
Responsibilities Include
- Provide technical support for targeted and focused technical studies and analyses that support the Agency’s technology strategies and implementations.
- Provide support to develop and mature the methodologies and processes for technology evaluation, and for technology management infrastructure operations.
- Develop and maintain reports, briefing slides, and executive fact sheets to support the Emerging Technologies Directorate, demonstrating the effectiveness of the Agency’s technology management processes.
- Provide expert and technical support to conduct technical studies, data collection, identification, analysis and evaluation of technology pathfinders, prototypes, and pilots.
- Provide evaluation criteria to assess and evaluate cyber security and innovation pilots during technology identification, plan, design, engineering, and implementation.
- Support efforts, as directed, to provide DoD Enterprise Services, working with various DISA directorates to ensure the broadest and most scalable enterprise capabilities are designed, implemented, secured, and operated.
- Promote synergy with agile methodologies, while supporting retraining of DISA thought processes.
- Support efforts to re-engineer DISA’s business systems and networks to support their consolidation from individual systems across the DoD.
Potential Systems Architecture Engineering related tasks to be performed :
- Analyze complex software and hardware systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems.
- Design systems and hardware solutions to support the portfolio of cyber programs.
- Resolve difficult inter-operability problems to obtain operation across all platforms.
- Serve as an industry recognized expert.
- Maintain current system architectures, configurations, and documentation (artifacts).
- Develop and design next generation architectures for programs.
- Act as a lead project engineer in developing new capabilities and in adapting new technologies.
- Work with Infrastructure teams to implement configuration changes, deploy new capabilities and technologies to enhance the various cyber ranges.
- Work with the DevOps teams to deploy new capabilities and support automation and orchestration (A&O) initiatives.
- Work with the A&A team to accredit new capabilities.
- Work with Program Managers and engineering staffs to achieve operational goals of the various programs.
- Work with senior leadership to advance cyber architectures and ManTech innovations across the portfolio.
- Work in a dynamic system engineering environment and must be able to lead task organized teams to accomplish tasks.
Potential Cloud Engineering related tasks to be performed :
- Develop strategy documents to support technology investments within the Cloud Services program.
- Define, build, and evolve a cloud strategy to meet enterprise needs.
- Develop strategies for exploiting cloud to solve current IT problems and establishing the foundation for the next-generation solutions of tomorrow.
- Develop migration methodologies and techniques to optimize an application’s contribution to deliver the desired business outcomes and IT goals.
- Develop technology policy documentation to support Cloud Services.
- Develop migration methodologies and techniques for migrating to private and commercial cloud for DoD mission partners.
Qualifications :
Base Requirement : Bachelor’s Degree and 10 or more years of relevant experience. Must have one or more of the following certifications : Cloud+, Security+, Network+, or CCNA.
Best Qualification : Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field or technical training.
Desired Experience :
- Advanced experience with AWS, Azure, and leading cloud service providers.
- Experienced with Zero Trust architecture and micro segmentation.
- Full understanding and experience working with various technologies to include Python coding, JSON files, Zeek data, Cloud, Azure, AWS, and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI / ML).
- Expertise in design and deployment of systems architectures to support initiatives under the cyber portfolio.
- Expertise in developing systems artifacts in accordance with client requirements and objectives.
- Expertise in designing and deploying federated architectures.
- Understanding and experience working with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) specifically :
- Best practices with building APIs.
- Security tools to scan APIs.
- Building API gateways for uniform scanning.
- Creating and managing an API gateway.
Experience with quantum computing and quantum cryptographic solutions is a plus.
Security Clearance : Top Secret (interim Secret to start).
