Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Live Chat Agent to join our dynamic team at a leading elementary school in Seattle Washington.
This position offers the flexibility of both fulltime and parttime hours and the opportunity to work remotely. As a Live Chat Agent you will be the first point of contact for parents students and prospective families providing exceptional customer service through live chat channels.
You will play a crucial role in enhancing our schools communication and ensuring that inquiries are addressed promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Engage with parents students and community members through live chat addressing inquiries and providing accurate information about school services and programs.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy while interacting with users ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Document and track chat interactions including queries feedback and resolutions to help improve service quality.
- Collaborate with other school departments to escalate complex issues and ensure timely followup.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on school policies programs and services.
- Monitor and report trends in customer inquiries to help improve overall communication strategies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in customer service or educationrelated fields is a plus.
- Strong written communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience in customer service is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with live chat systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace suitable for remote work.
