About The Position
- Weekly Pay Range - $2924 To $3249 Job Title : Electrophysiology Technician Job Specialty : Electrophysiology Tech Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : Minimum 2 years required;
- Unit accepts first-time travelers License : Indicate WA license status : Active, In Process, or No License Certifications : BLS, ACLS (REQUIRED);
ARRT, ARRT Advanced Cert (PREFERRED) Must-Have : - Temporary Pacemaker Experience- Phlebotomy Skills- ER Experience- Previous Charge Experience- Perform EKG Lead Placement Job Description : Work in the Electrophysiology Lab, focusing on the evaluation and treatment of heart rhythm disorders.
- Care for adult and geriatric patient age groups.- Obtain vitals and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.- Perform Holter monitoring, sinus node rhythms, and other essential electrophysiology procedures.
- Conduct special procedures including Stress Tests.- Utilize skills in cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and pacemaker insertion.
- Perform duties as a Room Circulator and maintain a sterile field.- Engage in accurate monitoring and participation in procedural responsibilities, including arrhythmia induction and baseline measurements.
- Respond to late shift on-call requirements with a 30-minute response time.- Float to other units within the scope of practice if needed, ensuring transportation is arranged.
Please note : Orientation includes 40 hours of training. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with medical and religious exemptions allowed.
Maintain readiness to float to various facilities within a 40-mile radius as needed. It is vital to have references covering one year of employment within the last three years prior to submission.
