Job Description
Responsibilities :
This position requires an individual who is organized, focused, and pays attention to detail. Individuals in this position will be required to prepare Inventory Control Reports, scan physical inventories in Warehouses daily, identify various different types of inventories and determine the locations of that product, and enter information in AS400 when needed.
The individual in this position will also need to be able to recognize any issues not in compliance with Butterball and USDA rules and regulations in reference to Food Safety and Associate welfare.
Individuals applying for this position should be able to work on other shifts or other assignments as required and set forth by the Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager in Distribution when necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Must be organized and attentive to detail
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds
- Able to work in a cold environment
- Have excellent attendance, work and safety record
- Able to interact with all levels of management
- Must be able to work any shift requested by the Supervisor or Manager
- Have knowledge of workplace Safety Rules
- Basic English, Reading comprehension, Writing and Math Skills preferred
- Must be able to work with little or No Supervision
Education / Experience :
- Minimum computer skills includig Microsoft Word, Excel and AS400
- High School Diploma or GED
