Job Purpose
Ensure the efficient and organized management of all inventory processes within the warehouses and parking areas. This includes overseeing the receipt, storage, and documentation of inventory, as well as maintaining a safe and clean warehouse environment.
The role also involves training and supervising staff to ensure smooth operations and accurate inventory tracking.
Job Responsibilities
Be accountable for success with all OOLY and Temp Agency warehouse staff in the following functions :
- Train and supervise warehouse staff (both permanent and temporary).
- Oversee unloading, verifying, and labeling of incoming shipments.
- Monitor, manage and report inventory levels.
- Organize and record inventory locations.
- Conduct cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety.
- Manage order picking, packing, and labeling to meet Customer expectations.
- Prepare products for shipping and load them onto trucks.
- Ensure warehouse equipment maintenance and order supplies.
- Evaluate staff performance and adjust staffing as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of staff timecards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Required Qualifications
- Education : A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management could be beneficial.
- Work Experience : Prior experience in warehouse management or a similar role. Possession of a valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past 7 years.
- Compliance : Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse operations. Working knowledge of ERP and WMS software.
Experience with scanning a plus. Advanced Excel skills. Thorough knowledge of lift truck operations, applicable OSHA and warehouse safety rules and regulations.
Maintains active fork-lift certificates for all equipment and drivers. Has completed Train the Trainer program and trains all company drivers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English required. Spanish language proficiency is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications (not required but preferred) :
- Certified Warehouse Manager (CWM) : Demonstrates proficiency in managing warehouse operations.
- Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) : Focuses on logistics and supply chain management.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) : Covers end-to-end supply chain management.
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) : Emphasizes production and inventory control.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification : Focuses on process improvement and efficiency.
- OSHA 10-Hour Certificate : Ensures knowledge of workplace safety standards.
Working Conditions
- Environment : Warehouse environment.
- Exposure : Moderate to high noise level.
- Physical Requirements : Sitting at a desk, using a telephone, using a keyboard, using a computer monitor for sometimes long and continuous periods of time.
- Physical Efforts : Regularly standing, walking, reaching, and stooping. Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.

Pay : $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
