Rich Contracting Company, LLC is looking for a Project Manager with a varied and broad skill set to join our fast-growing company.
The ideal candidate is based in the greater Phoenix area and can travel to construction jobsites throughout the country for key project milestones.
A candidate who can outline prior experience working on high-end retail tenant improvement projects and / or restaurant buildouts will get great consideration.
The ideal Project Manager will bring to the table the experience, skills and knowledge required to bid, manage, and close out assigned construction projects.
The ideal candidate is a well-organized, detail-orientated, and diplomatic individual. They will work directly with clients and the project superintendent on evaluating the project needs, monitoring workflow and solving problems.
They will work with vendors, personnel, and team members in varied project management aspects.
Project Manager Job Duties :
- Review construction documents and create detailed subcontractor scopes
- Review and qualify subcontractor proposals to create client proposals.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors and subcontractors to reach profitable agreements.
- Project budgeting, bidding, and awarding of subcontractors and / material suppliers.
- Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
- Act as a point of communication between company teams and external resources
- Communication with project team regarding Project Drawings, RFI’s, Shop Drawings, and Material Submittals.
- Maintain up-to-date records of submittals, shop drawings, and construction drawings on-site to ensure a proper install is achieved.
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets
- Ensure all parts of an assigned project are processed, organized, and progressing according to predetermined timelines and deliverable dates
- Ensure that each subcontractor is fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
