a) Interface with Con Edison as needed to support the Infrastructure Business Unit's management of various capital projects to meet capital program goals.
b) Coordinate with a multitude of users including, NYC Transit operations and engineering personnel as well as Con Edison.
c) Assist with field inspections to evaluate the work performed.d) Assist to ensure specifications are followed with emphasis on safety, quality and schedule and with required accommodation of Con Edison's policies and standards.
e) Perform other duties as assigned by the Deputy Business Leader.Bachelor's Degree in engineering OR Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and 5 years' experience OR Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent plus any combination of college education and / or experience described above to make up the equivalent of five years of education and experience.
Five years' experience in engineering / project management commensurate with level of education (see above). Con Ed experience with design, expediting, and / or inspection preferred.
Must have or acquire 30-hour OSHA Certification prior to participating in any work for MTA projects that occurs on or near the track or wayside.
