Responsibilities

Venture Relations : Cultivate and manage relationships with venture capital firms, ensuring alignment with Sentient’s long-term strategic goals.

Identify and secure new funding opportunities to support Sentient’s growth and expansion.

• Developer Community Engagement : Lead efforts to grow and nurture Sentient’s developer community, providing the support, resources, and opportunities needed to foster innovation and collaboration.
• Market Intelligence : Develop a deep understanding of the evolving machine learning industry, including trends in the application layer, research, hardware, and regulatory landscapes.

Use these insights to guide strategic decisions and partnerships.

• Strategic Partnerships : Build and maintain strong relationships with key organizations and protocols, advocating for Sentient’s interests and promoting collaboration in the decentralized AI space.
• Feedback Integration : Serve as a liaison between the market, venture partners, and our product / ecosystem teams, ensuring relevant insights are communicated and leveraged to enhance our offerings.
• Acquisition Strategy Ownership : Take charge of the acquisition strategy, focusing on both the demand side (ML researchers and engineers) and the supply side (hardware owner / operators), and drive initiatives that align with Sentient’s growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong Industry Relationships : Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various protocols within the Web3 and AI space, as well as with venture capital firms.
• Educational Background : Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, with a deep understanding of blockchain and AI technologies.
• Technical Expertise : Strong experience in machine learning, including programming in libraries like PyTorch / TensorFlow, and a solid grasp of the crypto landscape, especially in model development and governance.
• Proven Track Record : Experience in pre / alpha product-stage GTM / sales, particularly in rapidly evolving industries.

Success in securing venture funding and fostering developer relations is highly desirable.

• Developer Empathy : Demonstrated ability to sell products directly to developers, with a deep empathy for their needs and challenges.
• High Self-Motivation : Capable of managing high autonomy, navigating unpredictable timelines, and thriving in an applied research environment.
• Outstanding Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
