We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Staff Accountant who is able to successfully prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.

ROLE OVERVIEW : The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Bank reconciliation
• Job cost journal entries, i.e. : payroll, credit cards
• Compile monthly ad hoc reports
• Monthly balance sheet entries
• Miscellaneous projects
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Two or more years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience with journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in CMiC a plus.
