The Technical OEM Sales Manager is responsible for key customer OEM accounts and the management of projects, sales, quotes, margins, profit, contract negotiations, commodity agreements and overall customer satisfaction for the markets served.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Is the relationship owner of all OEM’s assigned.
- Manage current profit margins, margin retention and profitable growth.
- Negotiate and maintain critical customer agreements, such as LTA’s, raw materials, exchange rate, freight, etc.
- Follow Sear global pricing policy.
- Create and support growth strategies to support Sears’ Strategic Growth Goals.
- Create and Present effective presentations on company products, capabilities, and services.
- Establish and maintain contact with major OEM’s purchasing, engineering, and management level personnel. Strive to reach the highest level of management within the OEM’s and potential customers.
- Ability to understand and follow APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) processes.
- Capability of working closely with internal engineers and engineering concepts to fulfill customer expectations.
- Accurately communicate OEM engineering requirements with internal engineering.
- Support Customer Forecast and Order Fulfilment needs.
- Take appropriate action to resolve customer service problems and complaints.
- Confer with immediate supervisor in the development of existing OEM and potential customers.
- Review and follow marketing policy, recommending product and product line revisions, as well as pricing changes with immediate supervisor.
- Assist sales / marketing department in activities such as sales promotions, training or market research in planning and executing special projects.
- Plan, direct, and execute any arrangements required for participation in trade or other convention programs.
- Assist with the development and implementation of goals and plans of action consistent with company objectives.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Build strong relationships both internally and externally to support corporate goals.
