You will be rewarded with complete autonomy to run the tax department, with the full support, collaboration and trust of the CFO and executive team, allowing you to staff your team appropriately, allocate resources as you see fit and put in place systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of corporate tax including all tax compliance, tax accounting, planning, strategy and legal entity structuring.
- Take stock of your current team, their roles, systems in place and build a strategic plan to align with the company’s growth plans.
- Assess this corporation’s leverage on consulting firms; you will have the support to bring more functions in house if you see fit.
- Sit in the room as strategy is discussed offering input related to the tax implications of breaking into new markets and executing on acquisitions and joint venture opportunities.
- Create a positive culture within corporate tax that attracts the best and brightest tax professionals in Nebraska.
