Handling the responsibilities of financial statements, compliance engagements and year round consulting for nonprofits takes more than just a technical understanding of current accounting practices.

As a manager in our Audit and Assurance practice, you will be able to participate in providing individual attention to help make nonprofits successful.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Working with a dedicated team of mission oriented professionals
  • Providing a high level of service to nonprofit organizations primarily in the Portland Metropolitan area
  • Working directly with clients
  • Helping to manage and direct engagements, staff, and Assurance initiatives

The successful candidate will have experience, ability and interest in

  • Helping conduct and manage teams for financial audits and reviews of nonprofit organizations as well as audits in accordance with Uniform Grant Guidance
  • Working with a variety of nonprofit organizations
  • Working with department and firm leadership to stay abreast of industry changes and continual department improvement

Preferred qualifications

  • CPA certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Well-organized and with the ability to work efficiently and prioritize appropriately
  • The ability to collaboratively work with others as part of a high-performing team
  • Minimum of six years of work experience in CPA firm
  • The ability to work in a fast paced professional services environment
