Maintenance Technician Direct Hire
Job Description
Seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician for a direct hire position, responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of metal processing and recycling equipment.
Daily tasks will include repairing furnaces, vibration tables, shears, lift trucks, saws, forklifts, and maintaining optical sorters conveyors.
The role also involves troubleshooting basic PLCs, performing basic TIG welding, addressing electrical issues, and ensuring facilities maintenance according to a PM schedule.
Candidates must be prepared to work in a dynamic environment that can be somewhat dirty and experience temperature variations.
A commitment to safety and adherence to wearing respirators in designated areas is required.
Qualifications
- Maintenance Technician experience
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
- Welding
- Troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs
- Must have experience with 480v and 3-phase
- Must have experience with motors and gear boxes
Work Environment
The work environment can be dirty and experience temperature variations, getting hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
Candidates must be open to overtime and some Saturdays, averaging 48-50 hours per week. The role involves wearing respirators in certain areas, 3rd shift (11 : 30pm-8am)
