About The Position
Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technician Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 07 : 00 AM-07 : 30 PM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days / week plus on-call for nights, weekends, and holidays Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : RT(R) Certifications : ARRT Certification, BLS Must-Have : 2 years of Neuro Interventional Radiology experience (Stroke and Complex Neuro Interventions) Job Description : Work as an Interventional Radiology Technician specializing in Neuro Interventional procedures.
- Provide technical support for procedures in the IR-Neuro Lab.- Respond to call within a 30-minute timeframe.- Function as part of a multidisciplinary team in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- Assist in the management of stroke and complex neuro interventions.- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members for optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to procedures.- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and radiation safety standards in all procedures.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
