VOS CPAS is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to become part of our team! If you have experience in public accounting and you are a CPA or candidate we would like to talk with you. Our main office is in Delray Beach just off 95. We have clients in NY, FL, and GA.

We enjoy building and maintaining interpersonal relationships with our clients you will have the opportunity to manage all facets of bookkeeping, tax consulting, financial statement presentation and advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Federal and State tax returns for individuals and all entity types, including research on issues that may arise during the compliance process, planning and transactional work.
• Monthly bookkeeping services for specific clients as may develop or as opportunities arise.
• Recognizes, anticipates, and resolves tax issues; makes recommendations to small business clients regarding payroll, sales tax and other compliance matters
• Assistance in performing financial statement audit and review as necessary
• Markets firm services to existing and prospective clients.
• Work to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed including tax planning, client interaction, and performing special tax projects
• Assist and supervise staff with income tax preparation engagements and planning
• Participate with senior staff and management in tax preparation and tax review
• Supervise, manage, and mentor staff; act as a role model by creating a positive work environment
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients; serve as a trusted business advisor
• Take a protective role in business development – earn the respect of clients to attract clientele
