About The Position
- Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM);
- Day 3x12-Hour (7 : 30 AM - 7 : 30 PM) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required;
previous travel experience preferred License : Must have a valid compact or state license Certifications : ACLS and BCLS certification required Must-Have : IV start proficiency- Telemetry monitoring skills- Experience with Epic Job Description : Work on a rotating schedule of weekdays and some weekends, including holidays- Required to be on-call- Patient ratios estimated at 1 : 3- Must be willing to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity- Complete 24 hours of orientation- Comply with strict compliance deadlines- Ability to manage the fingerprinting process efficiently- Willingness to travel to fingerprinting locations when necessary- Flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions only
