Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities.

Your work will include tasks across various trades such as carpentry, electrical work, painting, plumbing, and welding. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical work history, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Position Overview :

Preventative Maintenance : Execute preventative maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and plant facilities according to work orders and / or verbal instructions.

Utilize manuals and professional practices to meet timeframe requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Repairs : Address and repair broken or ineffective machinery, equipment, and facilities. Follow work orders and / or verbal instructions, applying manuals and trade practices.
• Installation : Install machinery, equipment, and plant facilities in accordance with work orders and / or verbal instructions.

Use manuals and professional practices to meet timeframe requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Shift : Mon-Thur 6am-4 : 30pm with unlimited overtime opportunity. Train on days M-Th 6am-4 : 30pm.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in York, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment, which can be hot during the summer and cold during the winter months. Candidates who apply themselves can develop into various roles within the company, which invests in their employees through additional training, schooling, and certifications.

The facility is a metal stamping job shop, where jobs will change regularly. The environment is loud, and safety is a priority.

Protective gear such as steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and protective sleeves are required.

The team consists of 1 lead and 1 technician on days, and 1 newer technician on the 2nd shift. Will not be lifting over 40lbs without a teammate, and tasks may need to be completed independently.
