Onit is looking for a Staff Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This position will be in charge of all the day-to-day accounting functions and customer relationships and work closely with the team to ensure a timely and accurate month-end close.

Location :
- Hybrid work. Split time working from home and working from the office.
- Office is located in the Galleria area.
Responsibilities :
- Manage full cycle Accounts Receivables
- Participate in month-end close, preparing journal entries and schedules
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations, including bank, credit card reconciliations, and balance sheets.
- Work closely with Sales team to determine customer pricing
- Manage employee expense reports
- Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements
- Act as a point of contact for client accounting inquiries
- Conduct and manage ad hoc reports as needed by leadership
- Additional duties as required
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years accounting experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office with advanced skills in MS Excel
- Demonstrated experience with Intacct accounting software is a plus
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while working under time constraints
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
