Will help to coordinate and process each admission into the hospital. Job Duties / Responsibilities : Ensures all admissions paperwork is properly completed, and registered correctly in the appropriate systems.
Use various tools to determine and verify current and potential patient’s insurance coverage and benefits, or other funding sources.
Secures payment arrangements with patients and / or their guardian. Use hospital resources and external recourses to determine ability to pay.
Use excel or other office systems in order for tracking and reporting of all required data. Assists Business Office Manager with special projects as needed.
