Job Overview :

As a Senior Financial Analyst - Mergers & Acquisitions at Augmentjobs, you will play a critical role in evaluating, executing, and managing the company'

s M&A activities. You will work closely with senior leadership to identify strategic acquisition opportunities, perform detailed financial analysis, and ensure the successful integration of acquired entities.

This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities :

M&A Strategy Development : Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine the company's M&A strategy, including identifying potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships.

Financial Modeling : Create and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential acquisitions, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses, accretion / dilution analyses, and other valuation methods.

Due Diligence : Lead and coordinate the financial due diligence process, working closely with internal teams and external advisors to assess the financial health and risks associated with potential acquisitions.

Deal Execution : Support the execution of M&A transactions, including negotiating deal terms, preparing financial presentations for executive leadership, and assisting in contract negotiations.

Post-Merger Integration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of acquired companies, including financial reporting, budgeting, and operational alignment.

Market Analysis : Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform M&A strategy and identify emerging trends and opportunities in the industry.

Risk Assessment : Evaluate and manage risks associated with M&A activities, including financial, operational, and market risks.

Stakeholder Communication : Prepare and present detailed financial analyses and reports to senior management, board members, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA certification is preferred.

Experience : 6 to 8 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, or investment banking.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis software.

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Project Management : Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.

Team Collaboration : Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues across different departments.

Industry Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
