Job Summary :
The shipping clerk packages all manufactured product for shipping and safe delivery and handles all aspects of shipping and receiving.
Summary of essential job functions :
- Packaging of manufactured products for safe shipping
- Use of operating system software and shipping websites (i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc.) to ship products; experience with international shipping is a plus
- Receiving of all incoming shipments
- Upkeep of parts inventory
- Request ordering of shipping supplies and the upkeep of supplies
- Show competence in the use of equipment or machinery as signed off on training reports

Requirements :
Minimum requirements :
- High school education or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge
- Basic Math skills
Abilities required :
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to perform tasks in a safe manner and able to use equipment in a safe manner
- Effectively interact and communicate between departments and across various levels of supervisors and employees
