  • Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management, offering state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology.

    • Responsibilities

  • Perform daily turnover and terminal cleaning of surgical suites including walls, ceilings, floors, and equipment.
  • Transport patient beds and stretchers as necessary from patient areas to surgical suites.
  • Assist with positioning and prepping the surgical patient, stocking supplies for the department, and delivering surgical specimens.
  • With appropriate training, they may scrub to assist in the surgical field to hold limbs, retractors, or cameras.
  • Follow all guidelines set forth by the AORN Standards and Practices.

    • Qualifications

    Job Requirements :

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

    • Preferred Job Requirements :

  • Six months of experience as a patient care tech or surgical orderly
