Removery was formed in 2019 through a merge of the four leading tattoo removal brands in North America. The underlying businesses have operated a combination of 20+ years and have performed more than 1 million treatments, enabling us to offer clients an unrivaled treatment experience.

Based in Austin, TX, Removery is the only scaled, pure play provider of laser tattoo removal services in the world. We use best in class technology utilizing the innovative PicoWay laser equipment to remove tattoos safely and effectively.

The foundation is in place to build a network of 400+ locations across the US, Canada, and Australia over the next 5 years.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a self-motivated, empathetic, and client-focused Laser Specialist to provide safe and effective tattoo removal treatments in our studios.

This position will report to a Regional Manager and work closely with an in-studio Sales Consultant to provide a holistic client experience.

The professional we’re looking for is comfortable with repetitive tasks and finds the client experience the most rewarding part of their job.

Working as part of a small team, they understand that it comes with a greater responsibility to be reliable and punctual.

They are easy to get along with and respectful of others.

Based in your home studio, you will be our in-clinic expert. This includes delivering safe laser treatments to our clients, educating them on the tattoo removal process from start to finish, and other administrative-related tasks required for business operations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow Removery protocols to provide safe, effective, and optimal laser treatments.
  • Manage client files, photos, and information in compliance with Removery standards.
  • Compliance with all safety standards, including indications and contra-indications for treatment.
  • Daily preparation duties to enhance client experience and results.
  • Ensure all follow-up, documentation and endpoints are recorded appropriately.
  • Build trust and rapport with current and potential clients to ensure client satisfaction by delivering superior customer service.
  • Communicate realistic removal expectations and treatment outcomes.
  • High level self-accountability in fostering a positive studio culture and team dynamics.
  • Work closely with studio team to achieve studio’s core key performance indicators.
  • Discuss upselling opportunities with clients.
  • Complete company learning and development requirements.
  • Stewardship of studio, including light cleaning duties.
  • Represent Removery’s brand, mission, and culture.
  • Other administrative-related tasks required for business operations.
  • Must keep licensing credentials current. (For credentialed hires only)

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have one of the following certifications : Active Esthetician License or Laser Certification.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to your home studio and / or other designated locations.
  • Effective and client-centric communication style.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to meet employment eligibility requirements.
  • Zenoti or similar POS / CRM experience, a plus.
  • Must be able to sit for hour-long increments.
  • Must be able to lift 10 lbs. or more repetitively.
  • High level comfort with treating and interacting with the human body.
  • Strong wrist dexterity and strength with the ability to hold laser hand piece in hour-long increments.

  • A competitive wage of $26-30 / hr. and will be determined based on relative experience.
