Midwest Region Sales Executive - Manufacturing (Engineered to Order)

Dubuque, Iowa (On-Site)

Competitive base salary (paid weekly)

We're seeking a full-time Midwest Region Sales Executive to drive growth across a multi-state territory (Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee).

This role is ideal for a process-oriented sales professional with a strong mechanical aptitude who can build long-term relationships, manage complex sales cycles, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications :

  • Strong sales experience with tangible products (industrial or machined goods preferred)
  • Experience with engineered to order or customized to order productsnot selling off the shelf products
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage long sales cycles (4-12 months)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel and work independently in the field
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred)

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and grow accounts with mid-sized manufacturers across the Midwest
  • Execute a consultative sales approach with component sales cycles ranging from 412 months
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to align solutions with customer needs
  • Travel extensively throughout the region, with support for mileage / rental car and occasional company aircraft use
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Technology & Tools :

  • Laptop and company phone provided
  • Salesforce CRM, ERP, and other sales enablement tools
  • Work Location & Training :

  • Office-based in Dubuque, Iowa, with regular travel across the Midwest
  • Training provided by sales leadership with access to additional online and third-party resources
  • Flexibility to work beyond a standard 40-hour week as needed, depending on travel and customer demands
