About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 4x10-Hour Day Shift (06 : 30 AM - 05 : 00 PM), and on-call Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours Experience : Minimum 1 Year Required License : Must have an active state license.
Pending licenses are acceptable but must be active by start. Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS - All must be via the American Heart Association if required by the unit.
- Must-Have : - Competency in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention, including Structural. Job Description : Work in a short-term acute care, level IV trauma center, major teaching hospital- Manage daily caseload of 8-10 cases per tech- Required to take calls with a 30-minute response time- Weekend call starts Friday 7 PM and ends Monday 7 AM, rotating first and backup call- Primarily work in Cath Lab;
- may float within scope to meet facility needs- Orientation is 16 hours- Modules (2-4 hours) are non-billable and completed prior to start, included in orientation- Use Cerner for charting- Follow provided scrub color protocol- Comply with hospital flu vaccine requirements;
COVID-19 vaccine is not required- Work in a facility that is a member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health SystemsPlease ensure your application includes all required information and documents, including at least two managerial or charge references.
If there have been any previous probationary actions on your license, these will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility.
