Length : 13 weeks

Requirements :

• TN RN License
• 2 years experience
• Must have Critical thinking skills, EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip, insulin drip and heparin drip experience
• Experience with bipaps, high flow 02 and multiple oxygen delivery systems
• Experience with stroke and post cardiac cath care
• Experience with tube feedings and NG / dobhoff tubes
• ACLS
• Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred and peripheral iv skills

Other Details :

• Documentation system : Meditech
• May have to float in between PCU units or float to med-surg floors

Number of Beds : 630 has 34 beds / 633 has 25

Patient Ratios : 1 : 4 to 1 : 5 on days, 1 : 5 to 1 : 6 on nightsUnit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 3 techs when full on 630 and 2 techs when full on 633Type of equipment : bipaps, high flow o2, vapotherm, alaris pumps, cardiac drips, heparin drips, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis.

Wound vacs in conjunction with wound carePatient Experience requirements : hourly rounding on days, every 2 hour rounding on nights, AIDET and keeping up with communication boards on 7th floor.
