Salary Range : $70,000 - $115,000 / year DOE
Vice President Of Sales And Marketing Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree - MBA is a plus
- 5-10 years of B2B sales experience, specifically selling to retailers
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a managerial sales role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to travel (40% travel required)
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Highly communicative and a self-starter
- Background in furniture or wholesale industry is preferred
- Marketing experience is desired to help expand marketing efforts
Vice President Of Sales And Marketing Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement
- Supervise 20 independent sales reps (1099) and 5 internal customer service agents
- Address and resolve escalated customer service issues
- Facilitate the opening of new accounts and expand product selections with current clients
- Lead and train the sales department
- Manage and participate in trade shows, including setup and execution
- Generate and pursue leads, including cold calling and appointment setting
- Travel approximately 40% of the time, primarily on the East Coast, to visit customers and explore new territories
- Support and potentially expand marketing efforts
