About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Job Specialty : Emergency Department Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Nights (19 : 00 - 07 : 30), every other weekend required Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience License : Registered Nurse Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Must-Have : - IV insertion- Blood draws- PICC / Central Line management- Dialysis Fistula assessment- A-line management- 12 lead EKG- Cardioversion / defibrillation- Procedural sedation- CPAP / BiPAP- Ventilator management- Trach Care- Traction skills (basic)- Continuous bladder irrigation Job Description : Join a newly built facility with a rapidly growing team committed to providing access to care for all individuals.

13 patient care rooms and 4 vertical chairs for lower acuity patients- Patient ratio : 4 : 1, variable based on patient acuity- Must know how to read tele strips- Comfortable administering a wide variety of medications, including IV antibiotics, insulin, and vasoactive drips- Capable of caring for pediatric patients, initial stroke and STEMI care, overdose situations, lab value interpretation- Provide compassionate care to socioeconomically disadvantaged patients- Use common equipment such as Alaris IV pumps and Hamilton ventilators- Document using the Epic systemJoin our passionate and supportive team where we believe we achieve the best outcomes by working together!
