We have an exceptional opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as Assistant Director of Nursing. The ideal candidate will assist the Director of Nursing and help plan, coordinate and manage the nursing department.

The successful candidate will provide infection prevention management and ensure that adequate strategies are in place to verify the current licensure and credentials of nursing employees.

The role involves monitoring and evaluating the quality and suitability of nursing care through guest rounds and maintaining proper charting and documentation of care and of medications and treatments.

The selected individual will develop and implement the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the guest and guest population.

This position also participates in the budget process and maintains current knowledge of applicable managed care, Medicare and state Medicaid regulations, reimbursement systems and methodology.

To be considered for this leadership role, applicants must be a Registered nurse with management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing and maintain current CPR certification.
