Job Description
As a Coating Tech, your responsibilities will include the following : Coat, dip, and / or pot-prepared printed circuit boards and various electronic assemblies.
Setup / Repair Equipment such as spray guns, potting machines, etc.Use and / or read MSDS / TDS.Use masking materials to prepare electronic assemblies for the coating and / or potting process.
Remove masking materials from coated and / or potted electronic assemblies.Use of various hand tools, equipment, and materials to assemble, inspect, test, clean, and perform other tasks necessary to prepare for shipment.
Complete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision.Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment and follow prescribed regulations.
Interact professionally and effectively with a diverse group of employees and customers.Learn and practice standard operating procedures.
Maintain prompt and regular attendance based on the work hours established by management.Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Must be able to open documentation and follow work proceduresBe able to stand and walk for long periodsAttention to detail is a mustMust be able to visually inspect printed circuit boards for accuracyMust be able to handle small / big componentsMust be able to wear a respirator mask and PPE (safety glass, gloves, etc)Must be able to handle chemicals such as Acrylic / Silicone / Solvent / Etc.
Must have manual dexterityMust have basic computer skillsMust have the ability to troubleshoot problems and good problem-solving skillsMust be dependable and have good attendance and work ethic
