Job Description
Purpose :
Independently perform Senior level technical support within the maintenance department. Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.
Responsibilities :
- Adhere to AbbVies code of conduct
- Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met
- Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis
- Capable of training others on tasks
- Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
- Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks
- Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
- Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and / or the site
- Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations
- Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
- Awkward / forceful / repetitive motions (arms above shoulders, bent wrists, etc.) is required
- Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
- Routine work with chemicals
- Wear ear plugs
- Work at heights, e.g. ladders, scaffolds, catwalks, etc.
- Work in a clean room environment
- Work in confined spaces
- Work in noisy environment
- Repeated bending, stooping, squatting or kneeling is required
Qualifications
HS diploma with 10+ yrs. Experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs.
Experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions
- Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
