Overview :
- Analyze patient accounts in assigned credit balance (CB) work queues to resolve both distributed and undistributed credit balances
- Determine proper coordination of benefits
- Add missing coverage(s) to patient accounts and / or update any outdated coverage information
- Add account comments regarding coverage changes / additions, documenting who was consulted (payer contact name and phone number, reference to website,
- Analyze credit balance inquiries and potential refund requests from other departments
- Identify payer-specific trends
Must Have Skills / Qualifications
- 3+ Years of recent Credit Balance experience
- Expert insurance payer knowledge, adjustments, refunds, credits, primary & secondary insurances
- High school diploma or equivalent
Hours : Mon-Fri 8am-4 : 30pm (3 days remote, 2 days onsite)
