Summary :

The QTI Group has partnered with a well-established company on the east side of Madison in hiring a Construction Project Manager to join their team.

The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

The successful applicant will have excellent time management and project coordination skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

This full-time direct hire and onsite position will operate Monday-Friday between the hours of 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm with a starting salary of $70k+ based on experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage project timelines, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
  • Prepare detailed work plans and identify resources needed.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular project meetings, including project kick-offs, progress meetings, and project close-out meetings.
  • Utilize Construction management software to manage and track project progress.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and optimize resource allocation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and other construction documents.
  • Ensure that all glazing work complies with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Make informed decisions to keep projects on track and resolve any obstacles.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management within the glazing or construction industry required.
  • Strong knowledge of glazing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
